There’s something really special about Canterbury Childcare Centre that’s hard to put into words until you’ve experienced it. Both of my boys attended, and it genuinely felt like a home away from home from the very beginning. It’s set in a beautiful little Edwardian home with a big backyard and a great playground, which makes it feel so warm and inviting.
The on site cooking is amazing. The food is fresh, wholesome, and always smells incredible at drop off and pick up. But what truly stands out is the staff. Every educator is caring, capable, and so genuinely invested in the children.

What age groups do you cater to?
Canterbury Childcare Centre provides care and education for children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age across our Babies, Toddlers and Kindergarten programs.
What are your operating hours?
We are open Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 6:15pm.
Do you provide meals and snacks?
Yes. Our on-site cook prepares all fresh meals and snacks daily. Everything is included in the daily fee — no hidden extras.
What is included in the daily fee?
The daily fee of $194 includes all meals and snacks, nappies, hat, sunscreen, sheets and blankets for rest time, and access to our Xplore communication platform.
How do you ensure children's safety?
We follow strict safety procedures including secure entry, active supervision and comprehensive health and safety guidelines. All staff hold current First Aid, CPR and emergency care certifications for infants and children.
What qualifications do your educators hold?
All educators are highly trained and qualified. We have one full-time kindergarten teacher for our funded 3 and 4 year-old programs. All staff are certified in CPR and First Aid and receive ongoing annual training in mandatory reporting, child safety, food handling and professional development.
